Rules & Guidelines:
If any of the rules listed below are violated in any form, the appropriate action or response will be taken.
- NO SPAMMING - Spamming members, moderators, admins or the forum itself, particularly with off topic content, will result in an immediate ban.
- NO HARASSMENT OR FLAMING - Harassment of flaming of other members will not be tolerated.
- NO UPLOADING OF IMAGES OR VIDEOS - Please help keep the space requirements down. If you want to show an image or a video that's fine. Just upload it somewhere else and link to it here.
- NO LINKING TO IMAGES OR VIDEOS DEPICTING NUDITY
- NO POSTING OF SOMEONE ELSE'S STORIES AS YOUR OWN - Don't take credit for someone else's work. Doing so will result in an immediate ban. It is fine to link to someone else's work. Someone else's work should only be copied here with the author's permission. If you are concerned about a work vanishing from the internet, use archive.today and link to the archive.today link.
- MODERATOR/ADMIN DECISIONS ARE FINAL - While every attempt will be made to hear someone out, in the end any decision on how to interpret or act on the rules & content guidelines are up to the moderators/admins.
Content Guidelines
- The purpose of the Outgrown board is to talk about experiences growing taller, being outgrown, etc. Thus all content should involve realistic heights. In other words content shouldn't involve someone more than 8 feet tall or so. However, some leeway will be allowed in the 8 - 9 feet range. Beyond that content involving shrinking people to tiny sizes or growing beyond the already listed heights should be posted somewhere else. There are plenty of fine communities for that content. It simply doesn't fit into the niche the Outgrown board is trying to cultivate.
- Content should go in the appropriate board. Real experiences and stories that could be real experiences should be posted in the Real Experiences & Realistic Fiction board. Any story involving non-realistic elements should go Non-Realistic Fiction board. (Non-realistic elements can include anything from magic to fantasy to science fiction to more mundane non-realistic elements such as growth spurts that shouldn't happen due to someone being too old.)
- Anything that doesn't fit anyplace else should be put in General Outgrown Chat.
- In most situations, any decision involving an "edge case" of the content guidelines will default to allowing it. The content guidelines are meant to help develop unique content not be an excuse for a ban hammer.
