I met this 16 year old girl who is interested in me. There's nothing unusual about that now. The thing is she's tall, taller than me by like 3 or 4 inches (which is not due to heels), and remember, I'm 6'1". She is so tall that she has towered over girls older than her on the volleyball team, and those girls are tall too. I guess I don't get why she's so interested in me. I have already gone out with a couple of older girls, but I was plenty taller than them. This girl is a level beyond them. I get that guys her size are well above average height, but they can be found.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why she's so interested in me? I suppose it could be that it's no different than the other older girls that are interested in me. Maybe I'm just in shock from meeting a girl so tall, and I'm looking for something that isn't there as a result.

Perhaps she is in for "puppy love" and can see that with your long legs and size 15 foot you have the potential to cover the deficit in height. Do you have the "Boy Next Store" Look despite your height? Maybe she thinks your "cute". Or she is into your emotional maturity which is beyond your years and your charisma/popularity, and likes the idea of a "work in progress".

It may be that she is looking at this from a purely non-physical perspective. However, if you have size 15 feet already, then it's likely she thinks you will grow a lot soon. She might want to "lock you in" before the competition for you gets more fierce than it already is. Another possibility with your size 15 feet is that she thinks another body part of yours is very large, and she is more interested in that than a couple of inches of difference in height.

Also, are you sure that she's 3 or 4 inches taller than you? I know you said it wasn't due to heels, but could she have been wearing shoes with a small heel or something like that? If you're growing, you may already be 6'2", for example, and if she's a bit shorter than you think, then the height difference between the two of you may only be an inch or so. And that might not be enough for her to care about.
